Bringing History to Life
Dakota Wilster currently writes from Norfolk, Virginia, where she lives with her husband, dog, and an ever-growing graveyard of houseplants. She enjoys bringing history to life through stories.
When she is not writing, she is writing. From young adult or middle grade fiction, poetry, short stories, essays, creative non-fiction, lists, nature writing, or feature writing; she dabbles in a little of everything. She also blogs and has some experience in technical writing and copy editing. Dakota graduated from Geneva College with a BA in Creative Writing and from Chatham University with a MFA in Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults. You can find her holed up in her very sparest of Spare Rooms under the twinkle lights, where she is researching a new book involving paleontology, Hawaii, green wristwatches, and, unfortunately, bullies. Her latest completed novel The Song of Brynulf is out to lunch with agents. Scroll down to read some of her work.
